We have known for quite some time that Scarlett Johansson would return to Marvel Studios in a behind the camera role. However, details have been kept under wraps. Well, there is a small but exciting update.
According to NexusPointNews, Courtney Baker, a creative executive at Marvel Studios, has added this to her LinkedIn profile “Serve as an executive on the upcoming TV project Untitled Scarlett Johansson series for Disney+.”
As of now, it is very unlikely this is a project that has already been announced. Also, I find it unlikely Scarlett Johansson would star as a brand new character after playing Romanoff for over 10 years. I’d imagine this new project will be writing, producing, or directing credit. My best guess is that this will be for a Red Guardian series… but who knows at this point.
