It’s been less than a day since Giancarlo Esposito was confirmed to be joining the cast of Captain America: Brave New World, but we already have our first look at his mysterious character.
Early Saturday morning, a photo of Esposito on set began circling the web. Unfortunately, he isn’t wearing anything of note, so it’s still unclear who he might be playing.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, Captain America: Brave New World is currently undergoing reshoots that will only last 22 days.
The film is directed by Julius Onah, who co-wrote the script with Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson. It stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson / Captain America alongside Danny Ramirez, Carl Lumbly, Tim Blake Nelson, Shira Haas, Harrison Ford, and Liv Tyler.
The film will hit theaters on February 14, 2025.
