SEE IT: The First Poster For ‘Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare’ Is Here

This is what nightmare’s are made of…

The Poohniverse may be in its infancy, but that is not stopping parent company Jagged Edge Production from promoting other upcoming films on its slate.

While the next entry believe to be hitting theaters in Bambi: The Reckoning, Bloody Disgusting has nabbed the first official poster for the upcoming twisted adaptation of Peter Pan dubbed Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare.

You can check it out below:

Now, it goes without saying that the upcoming adaptation is not affiliated with Disney in any way, shape, or form. Still it’s association with Disney and the use of copyright to create a villain out of the usually heroic character is why we chose to report on it.

The fill will reportedly follow Wendy Darling as she tries to rescue her brother Michael from “the clutches of the evil Peter Pan.” In the film, Wendy will also meet a twisted version of Tinkerbell, who will be portrayed as a junkie hooked on…pixie dust.

Scott Chambers wrote the pic and is also helming while Rhys Frake-Waterfield, who directed both Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey, films serves as producer.

The film is currently shooting overseas. There is no release date yet.
