Director Shawn Levy’s highly-anticipated Marvel debut Deadpool & Wolverine is weeks away and despite all the craziness a Marvel project can bring, his next project is an untitled Star Wars movie. Well, today, we have received a massive update on that project.
According to The InSneider, Jonathan Tropper has been brought on to write the Levy-directed project. The addition reunites Tropper with Levy as both of them wrote and directed the Netflix hit The Adam Project, which Ryan Reynolds, Mark Ruffalo, and Walker Scobell.
Additionally, Tropper is the co-creator and executive producer of the Cinemax television series Banshee (2013–2016) and the creator of the Cinemax television series Warrior (2019–2023). He also was the showrunner and executive producer of the Apple TV+ science fiction series See, starring Jason Momoa, Alfre Woodard, and Dave Bautista.
