The Mandalorian & Grogu won’t be out for another two years. But that didn’t stop creators Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni from bringing a stellar teaser for attendees to enjoy at this year’s D23.
The teaser, while only a minute and a half long features some great action, AT-ATs, Zeb Orrelios and (arguably the true star) Babu Frik.
While the teaser won’t officially debut online for the foreseeable future, someone recorded it in its entirety and posted it on Twitter.

Now, plot details are scarce but Favreau is directing.
The film is set to be the first theatrical Star Wars project since 2019’s The Rise of Skywalker. It will also be the first theatrical movie based off a Disney+ series.
The Mandalorian & Grogu hits theaters in May 2026.
