Since the season finale of X-Men ‘97, fans have clamored for more info about the next season. During Marvel Animation’s panel at D23, they got plenty of info.
We already knew that the next season would feature Apocalypse, but other characters now confirmed to appear include Polaris and Warlock!
For those who aren’t familiar with Polaris, she is the daughter of Magneto, and she contains powers similar to him.
Warlock, on the other hand, is a member of the alien race called the Technarchy. While his race is known for sucking the lifeforce out of living creatures, Warlock possesses a distinctive degree of compassion, and is regarded as a mutant in spirit. He is most known for his association with the New Mutants in the comics. In fact, he almost appeared in the live-action adaptation about the group played by Sacha Baron Cohen.

Additionally, it was revealed that the characters would be sporting new costumes inspired by Grant Morrison’s New X-Men comics.
Sadly, no other info – not an even a release date – was shared at the presentation, but we expect the series to return some time next year!
