‘Andor’ Season 2 Finally Gets A Release Date At Disney+

It’s been over 2 years since the first season of Andor ended at Disney+. While fans have been clamoring for more details about the second and final season for that time, it seems as if the wait is almost over.

Saturday, during D23 Brasil, Lucasfilm confirmed the official release date for Andor season 2. In a post on Twitter, the official Star Wars account revealed that the show would officially return on Disney+ on April 22, 2025!

Andor follows the adventures of Rebel spy Cassian Andor during the formative years of the Rebellion and prior to the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Diego Luna will reprise the role of Andor, which he originated in the 2016 film. The rousing spy thriller will explore tales filled with espionage and daring missions to restore hope to a galaxy in the grip of a ruthless Empire.

Also reprising their roles are Ben Mendelsohn as Krennic, Jimmy Smits as Bail Organa, Alistair Petrie as General Draven, and Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma, with newcomers Stellan Skarsgard (Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End), Denise Gough (The Kid Who Would Be King), Adria Arjona (Pacific Rim: Uprising), Kyle Soller (Anna Karenia), and Robert Emms (Chernobyl) all in unknown roles.

Tony Gilroy, Dan Gilroy, Tony Bissell and Beau Willimon contributed the scripts, while Ariel Kleiman, Janus Metz, and Alonso Ruizpalacios shared directing duties.
