It’s been 35 years since The Simpsons debuted on Fox. And one of its original cast members is about to goodbye.
Pamela Hayden, the voice behind some of the show’s most iconic characters has officially announced her retirement. She was most known for playing both Bart Simpsons’ best friend Milhouse, as well as one of his bullies, Jimbo Jones.
Hayden also voiced secondary characters such as Ned Flanders’ son Rod, Chief Wiggum’s wife and Ralph Wiggum’s mother Sarah and Lisa Simpson’s friend Janey Powell.
She’ll lend her voice one last time to the Treehouse of Horror Presents: Simpsons Wicked This Way Comes, which debuts this upcoming Sunday.
As a “thank you” for her 3+ decades of service to the show, the official Animation Domination YouTube channel releases a video dedicated to Hayden on Wednesday.
