Tony Dalton to Reprise Swordsman Role in ‘Daredevil: Born Again’

While fans wait for the hopes of a second season of Hawkeye, a character from the series will return to the MCU sooner than expected.

According to Variety, Tony Dalton is reprising his role as Jack Duquesne, aka The Swordsman, in two episodes of the upcoming Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again.

Dalton’s return as the character makes tons of sense due to the Kingpin’s return was in Hawkeye. Duquesne was the former fiancé of Eleanor Bishop, who worked for Kingpin before turning on him to protect her daughter Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld).

Charlie Cox reprises his role as Matt Murdock / Daredevil from Marvel’s Netflix television series and prior Marvel Studios productions, with Vincent D’Onofrio, Margarita Levieva, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Zabryna Guevara, Nikki M. James, Genneya Walton, Arty Froushan, Clark Johnson, Michael Gandolfini, Ayelet Zurer, Jon Bernthal, Wilson Bethel, and Jeremy Earl.

Daredevil: Born Again is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on March 4, 2025, with its first two episodes. The first season consists of nine episodes, and will be part of Phase Five of the MCU. The second season is also set to consist of nine episodes.
