Sony’s ‘Spider-Man 4’ Unveils “Brand New” Title At CinemaCon

The “day” has finally arrived where we have an official title for Sony’s next Spider-Man film starring Tom Holland.

The film will officially be called Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

So it appears that instead of sticking with the theme of “Home” from the first three films, the next set will potentially deal with “days.” This is all just a presumption though.

The announcement was announced during the final presentation at Sony’s CinemaCon panel on Monday evening.

Tom Holland made the announcement through a video showcasing at CinemaCon for attendees only to reveal the title.

Director Destin Daniel Cretton confirmed that they will be filming this Summer for a targeted release date of July 31, 2026.

Now, what could Brand New Day mean?

“Brand New Day” is actually a Spider-Man comic book storyline run by Dan Slott and Bob Gale from Marvel Comics that published and ran in 2008.

That plot deals with Spider-Man dealing with the aftermath of the Civil War and having is marriage from Mary Jane Watson erased including his memory with everyone who knew him as Peter Parker similar to the ending of Spider-Man: No Way Home which was based on the 2007 comic book storyline One More Day.

No word of yet if MJ or Ned Leeds will return but weeks ago, Stranger Things actor Sadie Sink joined the cast in a mystery role.

What do you think of the title? Sound off below!
