New Spider-Man casting announcement alert!
Deadline has just reported that “Stranger Things” actress Sadie Sink will be joining Tom Holland in the upcoming Spider-Man movie for Marvel and Sony.
It hasn’t been confirmed who she’ll be playing as of yet.
There’s been speculations that she’ll play either popular X-Men character Jean Grey or perhaps another famous iconic red haired character Mary Jane Watson, Peter Parker’s love interest.
Perhaps other iconic Spider-Man characters like Gwen Stacy or Felicia Hardy aka Black Cat, who knows?
Sadie Sink is known as fan-favorite character Max Mayfield in Netflix’s “Stranger Things” which will have it’s anticipated final season later this year and is currently promoting her upcoming musical movie from Searchlight O’Dessa which had it’s world premiere at SXSW receiving some huge buzz and will be released in March 20th on Hulu.
Holland is currently filming Christopher Nolan’s fantasy Greek epic The Odyssey in Greece as we speak.
While Tom Holland is returning as Peter Parker aka Spider-Man, no official confirmation if Zendaya or any other actor from the Tom Holland’s Spider-Man Home trilogy will make a comeback to this fourth installment.
We shall see once it hits production sometime this year and set to released July 31, 2026.
‘Spider-Man 4’ will be directed by Shang-Chi director Destin Daniel Cretton and co-produced by Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal.
