BREAKING: ‘Avengers: Doomsday and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ Get New Release Dates

Well, the Avengers are going from taking over the summer movie season to now the holiday season.

Having just began principal photography less than a month ago, multiple trades are reporting that Avengers: Doomsday will be delayed from May 5th to December 18, 2026.

So it only makes sense that the sequel film, Avengers: Secret Wars also gets pushed back. Originally set to hit theaters May 7, 2027, it will now set for a December 17, 2027 release.

Fans might see this as a encouraging news to a way of this film not being rushed and getting all the VFX ironed out. But we’ll just have to wait and see…
