BREAKING NEWS: Disney’s Live-Action ‘Tangled’ Found Their Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder!

Well it looks like the casting for the our leading iconic characters is finally over!

Disney has just broke the news on their social media accounts that Australian actress Teagan Croft and Disney’s Zombies actor Milo Manheim have been casted as Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder.

Last month it’s was reported that Disney was doing screen testing for the leads in both the United States and the United Kingdom.

The ones who tested for the role of Rapunzel were actresses Sarah Catherine Hook (The White Lotus), Freya Skye (Disney’s Zombies) and Olivia-Mai Barrett (Apple TV’s Invasion).

As for Flynn Ryder, Charlie Gillespie (Splitsville, Netflix’s Julie and the Phantoms) and theatre actor Gilli Jones were testing for the role along with Manheim.

Teagan Croft is known for playing Raven in DC’s Titans series and Milo Manheim is Disney’s leading actor in the Zombies franchise.

Next for casting is the villainous Mother Gothel. We recently reported that Scarlett Johansson dropped out of the role due to being talks for The Batman Part II and The Exorcist.

Well shall see who they cast next for the role.

Disney’s live-action adaptation of 2010 animated feature film will directed by Michael Gracey (The Greatest Showman, Better Man), produced by Kristin Burr (Freakier Friday, Cruella, Christopher Robin), and written by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson (Do Revenge, Thor: Love and Thunder).

Production for Tangled is expected to start in early June at the UK and Spain but could be delay depending on the rest of the casting.
