Designed in conjunction with the biggest exhibitors in the world, the format will play on the largest screens possible for maximum scale. It will feature laser projection for superior brightness and clarity. And it will also include the use of premium audio formats fro fully immersive sound.
The goal of Infinity Vision is to help audiences identify the best theatrical experience.
It will debut in September, with the scheduled re-release of Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame. But will be available once agin in December with the release of Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday.
“Infinity Vision certification extends that commitment to the theaters themselves, representing a shared effort between The Walt Disney Studios and the exhibition community to help audiences quickly find the very best screens in their area,” Head of Theatrical Distribution for The Walt Disney Studios Andrew Cripps said.
Participating theaters will feature Infinity Vision branding both online and in-theaters, making it simple for consumers to find certified auditoriums when purchasing tickets.
