Get ready for some holiday magic from Disney Animation! The studio has announced its original Thanksgiving movie for 2026, a new animated feature titled Hexed.
The film has already lined up its main voice talent, with Hailee Steinfeld and Rashida Jones in the leading roles. Steinfeld will play Billie, an unconventional teenager stuck in a boring town who gets the surprise of a lifetime when she discovers she’s a witch and is whisked away to a realm of magic. Meanwhile, her type-A mom, voiced by Jones, has her own orderly world turned completely upside down by the magical revelation.
The feature will be directed by Josie Trinidad and Jason Hand, with Roy Conli and Juan Pablo Reyes Lancaster-Jones serving as producers. You can expect to see Hexed in theaters on November 25, 2026.
Further details on the movie are expected to come out during Disney’s D23 Expo this summer.
