According to Variety Haley Atwell is set to star in Christopher Robin a live action adaptation of Disney’s beloved Winnie The Pooh.
Atwell joins Ewan McGregor who is set to star as a grown up Christopher Robin who returns to the Hundred Acre Woods to reclaim his sense of imagination that he lost growing up with the help of Pooh and friends. Atwell will play Robin’s wife.
World War Z director Marc Forster will helm the film. With Brigham Taylor producing the project, and Hidden Figures scribe Allison Schroeder penning the script.
Atwell is no stranger to the Disney universe, she had a role in 2015’s live action adaptation of Cinderella, as well as Marvel Alum Agent Carter.
No release date has been given for the film to date.
