Oscar winner Angelina Jolie has been busy out promoting her new directorial film, First They Killed My Father: A Daughter of Cambodia Remembers at Telluride Film Festival, I hear that the movie received standing ovation there, perhaps even Oscar buzz,.. but of course she couldn’t evade questions about her potential upcoming starring roles, one of which is Disney’s Maleficent 2, to which Jolie can only share this, via Deadline..
“We have been working on the script and this is going to be a really strong sequel.”
2014’s Maleficent is a re-telling of one of all-time Disney’s iconic villains, it’s about a vengeful fairy driven to curse an infant princess, only to discover that the child may be the one person who can restore peace to their troubled land.
The $180-Million budgeted film went on to bank $758 Million at box office worldwide.
