Yesterday we reported that Disney had submitted three songs from Beauty And The Beast (“Evermore”, “How Does A Moment Last Forever”, and “Days In The Sun”) to the Academy to be considered for nominations for Best Original Song at next years Oscars. Well now Disney is planning one last push for the Awards season.
The live-action adaptation will return to AMC Century City In Los Angeles and AMC Empire 25 New York theaters on December 1 for a one week run. AMPAS, BAFTA, ACE, ADG, ASC, CAS, DGA, HFPA, MPEG, MPSE, PGA, WGA, CDG, and VES members shall be admitted with a guest to screenings at both theaters with valid membership card.
Beauty And The Beast is the highest grossing movie of the year currently at $500 million domestically and over $1.2 billion worldwide.
Directed by Bill Condon, the film stars Emma Watson, Dan Stevens, Luke Evans, Emma Thompson, Ewan McGregor, Ian McKellen, Kevin Kline, Josh Gad, Stanley Tucci, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw.
Beauty And The Beast is now available on Digital HD, Blu-ray and DVD.
