Live-Action PETER PAN Fan Cast

Disney is currently developing a live-action adaptation of Walt Disney’s animated classic Peter Pan. The film is set to be directed by Pete’s Dragon helmer David Lowery. However the film does not currently have a cast yet so we thought it would be fun to do a casting of our own.

Jaeden Lieberher as Peter Pan

Jaeden Lieberher who is best known for his role as Bill in the 2017 horror hit IT. Which showed that he can portray a leader not a follower. Lieberher has a long career ahead of him, and has been praised for his roles in Midnight Special and The Confirmation. So it is a safe bet that Disney is itching to work with him.

Millie Bobby Brown as Wendy

Millie Bobby Brown is becoming a hot commodity amongst many film studios. Not only is she the breakout star of the Netflix series Stranger Things. She has already booked herself some big gigs such Godzilla: King Of The Monsters and Kong vs Godzilla. After staring in these “creature features” Peter Pan would a nice change of pace and a test to show off the actresses lighter side.

Idris Elba as Captain Hook

Elba seems to keep himself quite busy as an actor. However he loves working with Disney and Disney loves working with him. As he has appeared in The Jungle Book, Zootopia, and Finding Dory. Not to mention he auditioned for the role of Gaston in the 2017 live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast. So it seems Elba wants to continue playing these iconic Disney villains and after seeing him frighteningly voice Shere Khan, Captain Hook could easily be Elba’s wheelhouse.

Reese Witherspoon as Tinkerbell

Disney was set to give Reese her own Tink movie but that has been put on the back burner. We reported last week that Reese could make her appearance as Tink in this film, and if successful her Witherspoon’s Tink film may move forward. That all being said Reese is a veteran actress made for this role.

Danny DeVito as Smee

Another actor who has worked with Disney in the past as the voice Phil in Hercules. DeVito seems made for this role his lovable yet comedic side is perfect for the role of Smee. DeVito will appear in next years live-action adaptation of Dumbo and will also be heard as the voice of Bob in Disney’s The One And Only Ivan.

Tom Hiddleston as Mr. Darling

Oh we know you are screaming at the top of your lungs with this one. Hiddleston should be Hook as well. Well we wanted to put Hiddleston in a role where he could see redemption at the end and Mr. Darling is that character. Not to mention he is already playing a villain (redeemed) as Loki in the MCU and has already voiced a young Hook in The Pirate Fairy.

Keira Knightley as Mrs. Darling 

Knightley is certainly no stranger to the House of Mouse as she is apart of Disney’s most successful franchise outside of the MCU, Pirates Of The Caribbean. She is no brainer choice for the role of Mrs. Darling.

Now we understand there are more characters we could have fan cast but decided to keep to the big ones. We also get that it is traditional for the man playing Captain Hook to play Mr. Darling but in this case we figured its okay to make changes to the story.
