Fantasy Spring’s June 6th, 2024 opening date at Tokyo DisneySea is fast approaching with less than 3 months remaining and we have new exciting details.
What and where is Fantasy Springs?
Fantasy Springs will become the eight port at the Tokyo DisneySea park and will feature brand new thematic lands inspired by Frozen, Peter Pan and Tangled, as well as a new hotel, the Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel.
In addition to breaktaking recreations of many places from and inspired by the animated movies, each area will feature at least one new ride, dining options and exclusive merch.
Let’s take a look!
Frozen Kingdom
While you were not alone in assuming that Frozen Kingdom would be an exact replica of the World of Frozen area that recently opened in Hong Kong and is eventually coming to Paris… That would be incorrect.
There are certainly many similarities, as both versions will allow guests into the world of Arendelle, but Frozen Kingdom promises a more immersive experience.

There will be a boat ride that will explore the story of the first Frozen film, but it will not be the same Frozen Ever After attraction that already exists in Hong Kong and Orlando, but a brand new ride called Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey.
Two new dining options are also in this area: The Royal Banquet of Arendelle and Oaken’s OK Foods.
The first will allow guests inside of a quite impressive replica of the Arendelle castle and the later will feature food and drinks inspired by the character of Oaken.
You can take a look at the general Frozen Kingdom area and a sneak peek into the Royal Banquet of Arendelle below:
Peter Pan’s Never Land
Grab your pixie dust, because as the title suggests, Disney has really built a real-life version of Never Land and Pixie Hollow.
While we won’t find a version of the Peter Pan’s Flight attraction we all know and love, there will be a brand new attraction in which Peter Pan and the gang will go on a quest to save John from Captain Hook and the pirates.

Lookout Cookout, a new dining option will be located in this section and will give the illusion as if it was built by the Lost Boys themselves and will be premiering a brand new popcorn flavor called Roast Beef Popcorn.
And over at Pixie Hollow, guests will be able to visit many areas inspired by the seasons as shown in the Tinker Bell movie series. Surely will be a popular photo-op place.

Rapunzel’s Forest
Last, but most certainly not least, Rapunzel’s Forest will be the first fully-themed Tangled area and it will be home to the very first Tangled attraction as well.
This attraction’s name is Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival will also be a boat ride and it will tell Rapunzel’s story, featuring many iconic songs and moments from the animated film.

A real-life replica of The Snuggly Duckling is also opening soon to receive guests as an actual new dining option with dishes inspired by the film.
And of course, this area would not be complete without featuring Rapunzel’s iconic tower, along with a sculpture of the long-haired heroine looking by the window.

Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel
This hotel is park-integrated right next to the Fantasy Springs port and is inspired by the Disney Princesses, along with the port’s flora and fauna theme.
The hotel comprises two structures: Fantasy Chateau and Grand Chateau, which will be the most luxorious accomodations currently found at the Tokyo Disney Resort.
It will also feature 3 new dining experiences called Fantasy Springs Restaurant, Grand Paradis Lounge and La Libellule and have shops with exclusive merch to the hotel.

As you can see on the videos, Fantasy Springs is still under construction to finalize finishing touches. But so far it seems it’s on track to keep its opening date without further delay.
