AVENGERS 4 Reshoot Details And Rumors

Recently rumors and new details have surfaced regarding the supposed reshoots for Avengers 4. Not a lot is known, and most is hearsay, but actor Mark Ruffalo (The Avengers) recently had this to say regarding this months final reshoots.

Well we’re doing reshoots starting in September. And then we’ll go back into the international tour, we’ll go on tour… Then you guys will get Avengers 4. Which we don’t even know what it’s gonna be yet. We’re not just doing reshoots, we’re going to finish the movie, which we really didn’t get to finish totally when we left it last year… It’s pretty amazing. And we’ll shoot some stuff and a few days later come back and reshoot it cause we wanna take it in another direction. It’s a very living organism, even as we approach it being a locked picture, we’re still working on it.

Going from this quote from Mark Ruffalo (The Avengers) it seems to play pretty coy in revealing any plot details, we can discern that in fact these might be the last of the reshoots for Avengers 4. Recently as well, actor Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy) has expressed his discern for the Walt Disney company, through multiple tweets and interviews. Due to this it has been heavily rumored, that scenes have been cut in space in favor of featuring more scenes in Wakanda with a recent casting call for “African American women with shaved heads”. With this bit of news it is all but confirmed Marvel and the Russo Brothers are looking for extras to feature as Dora Milaje (The Wakandan royal guard), to be in more of the movie. There has also been reported set photos of Chris Evans (Captain America: The Winter Soldier), Scarlett Johansson (The Avengers), and Paul Rudd (Ant-Man and The Wasp) seen on set for reshoots during this time.

There is also talk of actor John Slattery (Mad Men) being set to return as his character Howard Stark, aka Tony Stark’s father. With where Avengers: Infinity War left our characters; specifically Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.), damaged and broken with the events that unfolded. So, it’s not too far-fetched to suspect Tony Stark might die or have some sort of dream scene with his estranged deceased father.

Avengers 4 is set to hit theaters May 3rd, 2019.
