Ryan Coogler Is Heading Back To Wakanda As He Comes Back To Write And Direct ‘Black Panther 2’

The Hollywood Reporter has announced that Ryan Coogler is set to come back to write and direct ‘Black Panther 2’. Sources say that he quietly signed on this week due to Marvel wanting to keep the team “intact”. This doesn’t come as a shock, as Coogler took the first film and turned it into a $1.3 billion dollar box office hit. THR has stated that Coogler is expected to write the screenplay next year with a production starting in late 2019 or early 2020. Coogler has been keeping busy since his major box office debut. He is set to direct ‘Wrong Answer’ featuring ‘Creed’ and ‘Black Panther’ star Michael B Jordan, along with producing the ‘Space Jam’ reboot. No other details have been disclosed as of yet but we’re sure to hear more soon. No release date for ‘Black Panther 2’ has been announced. ’Black Panther 2’ is set to reprise with Chadwick Boseman.
