Disney Films Up For Big Oscars At The 91st Academy Awards

Early this morning, the nominees for the 91st Academy Awards were announced and several films from the Walt
Disney Company were nominated in some major and minor categories.

Black Panther became the very first MCU movie to be nominated for Best Picture. Both Incredibes 2 and Ralph Breaks The Internet were nominated for Best Animated Feature. Bao was nominated for Best Animated Short. Black Panther and Mary Poppins Returns were each nominated for Best Original Song for “All The Stars” from Black Panther and “Where The Lost Things Go” from Mary Poppins Returns.

The Academy Awards will air live Feb. 24 at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET on ABC.
