On the heels of the fantastic opening of Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge its time to look forward to the next phase of introducing the land to the public. Since its opening on May 31st, the only way to get into Batuu was by reservation, and you were only allowed to be in the land for four-hour blocks. As of Monday, June 24th, the land will be open to all without the need for a reservation. However, it will be available through a virtual queue — Heres how it works.

Once you enter the Disneyland Park log into your Disneyland app and check the status of Galaxy’s Edge. It will either say Open or Access by boarding group only. Just make sure all the people in your group have their tickets in your app and create a boarding group for your entire party, it’s that simple. You will be able to monitor your status, and you will be alerted when it’s your parties time to go to Batuu. Once you have been notified of your group being allowed to enter, you will have a two-hour window then you will lose your boarding pass. There will be no time limit on how long you can stay in the land.

For those who do not want to use the Disneyland app, you can get a boarding pass at the following fast pass kiosks. Haunted Mansion, Indiana Jones, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, and the Matterhorn Bobsleds. You will also need to make reservations for Ogas Cantina and Savi’s Workshop at 7:00 a.m each day.

Hopefully, this will make it a little easy for you to understand the new process that will Star War Galaxy’s Edge. What do you think of these new changes? Would you like to see the virtual queue used more in the parks?
