Originally a radio comedy broadcast on BBC Radio 4 in 1978, and is centered on “the intergalactic adventures of Arthur Dent, a hapless Englishman, following the destruction of the Earth by the Vogons, a race of unpleasant and bureaucratic aliens.”
The sci-fi adventure was later adapted to other formats, including stage shows, novels, comic books, a 1981 TV series, a 1984 video game, and 2005 a feature film released by Disney.
