The Disney Channel hit TV show, Lizzie Mcguire, starring Hilary Duff is coming to the Disney+ streaming service in an all new sequel series!
Deadline reports the show’s original creator Terri Minsky has signed on the new overall deal with Disney Channel for this new project about Lizzie McGuire (Duff) who will now be a 30-year-old millennial navigating life in New York City. Like the original series, it will include the comedic animated version of Lizzie, including her funny commentary and Lizzie’s inner thoughts.
Lizzie Mcguire will also be joining another rebooted franchise, High School Musical, which will also be debuting on the Disney + platform!
