Marvel’s ‘New Warriors’ Reportedly Dead As Series Can’t Find A New Home

It sounds like Marvel’s New Warriors is officially dead after failing to find a new home after being dropped by Freeform. According to Geeks WorldWide, the series was dropped despite network executives loving the series pilot. Marvel Television tried shopping the series to Disney+ and Hulu, but both passed. This news is pretty disappointing, and it’s sad Hulu won’t take a crack at New Warriors, with all the success they are having with Runaways and Cloak & Dagger — both series will even crossover next season. New Warriors could’ve been an excellent addition to their universe. The New Warriors is a fictional superhero team appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. They traditionally consisted of teenage and young adult heroes, and were often seen to serve as a junior counterpart to The Avengers in much the same way that the New Mutants/X-Force did with the X-Men.
