News of a Hardy Boys series hit the web earlier this year, and details surrounding it was tight-lipped. Now it looks like the series has found a home.

According to Observer, the Disney owned streaming service Hulu will be developing the Hardy Boys as an hour long series.

The series will reportedly be a young adult and teen-oriented drama co-executive produced by Joan Lambur (Rocket Monkeys) and Steve Cochrane (Ransom), with Jason Stone (Riverdale) is set to direct.

The site reports that plot details are being kept under-wraps and that filming on the series will begin soon.

Created in 1927, and revised since 1959, The Hardy Boys books, revolve around Frank and Joe Hardy acting as amateur sleuths, solving cases that stumped their adult counterparts. The characters were created by American writer Edward Stratemeyer, the founder of book-packaging firm Stratemeyer Syndicate; the books themselves are written by ghostwriters under the collective pseudonym Franklin W. Dixon.

The books continue to sell millions of copies annually. The Hardy’s have also appeared in multiple tv series over the years (most recently in 1995), video games, and even comics. The characters have been rumored to appear in the CW series Nancy Drew. Drew was also created by Stratemeyer as a female counterpart to the Hardy Boys.
