Star Tours To Receive ‘The Rise of Skywalker’ Upgrade

Disneylands’ original Star Wars attraction, Star Tours is receiving a bit of an upgrade, as it will give fans a glimpse of at the new locations that will be seen in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

The attraction has recently taken us to new locations including Jakku, Crait, and even Galaxy’s Edge Batuu. Now, thanks to Tom Fitzgerald of the Disney Parks Blog, we now know we will be visiting the ocean moon Kef Bi as seen in the recent trailer for The Rise of Skywalker.

From Tom:

I know that many of you are as excited as I am about the December 20th film launch of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Today I’m equally excited to announce that on the same December date, Star Tours – The Adventures Continue will be adding new destinations inspired by the latest episode of the Star Wars saga … at Disneyland Resort, Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Paris and Tokyo Disney Resort… In the trailers for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, you caught glimpses of the ocean moon Kef Bir. All I can say at this point is that Starspeeders will be heading there soon!

Star Wars: Episode IX is set to hit theaters on December 20, 2019.
