Bluey and Bingo have arrived at Disneyland, and they brought the kind of chaos families can actually join.
“Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” is now playing at the Fantasyland Theatre, which has been transformed into the grounds of Bluey’s school. This is more than a chance to wave at the Heeler sisters from your seat. Disney encourages guests to move around, play games, dance, and explore the space throughout the experience.
Bluey and Bingo appear onstage at scheduled times with live musicians and performers. Chattermax, Unicorse, and a troupe of Grannies join the fun, while a surprise cavalcade brings some of Bluey’s friends through the audience. Yes, it sounds like things could get wonderfully out of hand.
There’s plenty to do between show moments, too. Families can explore a life-sized Gnome Village and Fairy Garden, race imaginary Barky Boats, hop aboard Bluey’s helicopter stump, and pose for photos with the Heeler family car.
Disneyland has also rolled out Bluey-inspired treats, including a magic “asparagus” pretzel and a Bluey sipper, along with themed merchandise around the resort.
The experience opened March 22, but Disney refreshed its guide on September 25 with details for families planning a visit. Check the Disneyland app for the day’s entertainment schedule before heading over, especially if seeing Bluey and Bingo onstage is the must-do for your crew.
Between the music, the games, and the Grannies, Fantasyland Theatre looks like a pretty great place to let the kids lead the day. Honestly, the grown-ups might have just as much fun.
