Season one of The Mandalorian was a massive success for Disney+. Fans and critics praised Jon Favreau and Company for their take on a galaxy, far, far, away.
The series showrunner Jon Favreau wasted no timing confirming via social media that the second season will debut on Disney+ next fall. He also shared an image of a Gamorrean, a type of alien from the Star Wars universe with a distinctly hog-like appearance. The Gamorrean’s most noteworthy appearance was in The Empire Strikes Back, when they served as guards for crimelord Jabba the Hutt on Tatooine.
