Disney+ is gaining more traction on their original content and with recent news, we’re looking at a lot of new exciting series’. The next Marvel Studios series, Loki, is starting up production soon and casting has reportedly gone underway.
According to Murphy’s Multiverse, a casting call went out yesterday for a Marvel Studios project, saying they’re looking for an actor/actress to portray a young 10-year old British male and a 10-year old British female. There aren’t any confirmations on the roles, but speculations suggest a young Loki for the new Disney+ series.
Male, 10 years old, British, Open Ethnicity, smart and brave with a sharp wit and life experience beyond his years…RECURRING
Female, 10 years old, British, Caucasian, in tears over a frightening situation, she relies on her intelligence and resilience to find a way out.
Like I said before, no word on if this is actually for the series, but given the timing and production schedule, it sounds a lot like the new Loki series.
The rumored plot line for the series has a young Loki traveling through time and is expected to connect with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Wandavision is expected to tie into the film as well.
Loki is set to debut on Disney+ in the Spring of 2021, with production set to kick off early this year.
Disney+’s Loki will see the return of Tom Hiddleston as Loki and will feature Sophia Di Martino (Flowers; Yesterday) in an undisclosed role. Kate Herron (Daybreak) will direct the series with Michael Waldron (Rick & Morty) writing the series.
