Trickshot and Tracksuit Mafia Will Reportedly Appear In Marvel Studios’ Disney+ Series ‘Hawkeye’

There’s been a lot of uncertainty regarding Marvel Studios Disney+ series Hawkeye, thankfully the studio has reportedly dismissed talks of a delay. In fact, it seems to be moving according to schedule.

According to MCU Cosmic, the series is set to introduce Trickshot and the Tracksuit Mafia.

For those unaware of these characters Trickshot is also know as as Barney Barton, yes, Clint’s older brother. Barney took a much different path than Clint, joining the military, then the FBI, before becoming an anti-hero with the Dark Avengers. The Tracksuit Mafia also known as the Tracksuit Draculas, they are an underground criminal organization based out of New York.

Jeremy Renner is set to return as Clint Barton as he trains a new bow wielder – Kate Bishop who ends up taking the Hawkeye mantle. Hailee Steinfeld (Bumblee) is still the studios’ favorite for the role, but other actress are now being considered due to Steinfeld’s schedule at the moment.

Mad Men scribe Jonathan Igla will be writing and executive producing the series, which focus on Barton (Renner) training another non-super-powered bow and arrow weirder, Kate Bishop (Steinfeld if she signs), and how to be a superhero with no super-powers.

It’s unknown at this time if any other Avengers will make an appearance on the series, who the villain will be. The series is still expected to drop on Disney+ sometime in the Fall of 2021.
