Marvel Studios has announced today that the final season of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will premiere Wednesday, May 27th on ABC.
“Coulson and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. are thrust backward in time and stranded in 1931 New York City. With the all-new Zephyr set to time-jump at any moment, the team must hurry to find out exactly what happened. If they fail, it would mean disaster for the past, present and future of the world.“
The series is confirmed to be an extended part of the MCU and does not tie directly into the universe
This this will be the end of Marvel Television with all rights reverting back to Marvel Studios and Kevin Feige. Any future shows will have Feige in the producer’s chair and are likely going to Disney+.
The Falcon and the Winter Solider and WandaVision are still slated for this year and will premiere on the streaming service.

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. stars Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Brett Dalton, Iain De Caestecker, Chloe Bennet, Elizabeth Henstridge, and Henry Simmons.
The last season premieres on ABC May 27 at 10pm EST.
