Lin-Manuel Miranda Documentary Coming to Hulu, Chronicling His ‘Freestyle Love Supreme’ Days

Before Lin-Manuel Miranda was a household name for his Broadway hits, In The Heights and Hamilton, and long before his now successful film career, he was the co-founder of a hip-hop improv troupe called Freestyle Love Supreme with director Thomas Kail and beatboxer Anthony Veneziale. Now, Hulu is making Freestyle Love Supreme the center of its newest documentary and will chronicled their journey that started back in the summer of 2005 to now as the young performers on show have now become big names in film, television, and the stage.
