Disney has officially announced that their long-in-development animated film Phineas and Ferb: Candace Against The Universe will premiere on Disney+ on August 28, just one week after the streamers live-action film The One and Only Ivan.

The film follows the famed stepbrother inventors who know what they’re gonna do today. They’re gonna rescue their sister from an alien abduction.

Many of the cast members from the original Disney Channel hit show are set to return including Vincent Martella, Ashley Tisdale, Caroline Rhea, Dee Bradley Bake, Alyson Stoner, Maulik Pancholy, Bobby Gaylor, Olivia Olson,Tyler Mann, along with the creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff Marsh. However, Thomas Brodie-Sangster who voiced Ferb on the show will not return due to scheduling conflicts. Instead, David Errigo Jr., who played the role in the Milo Murphy’s Law crossover, will voice the character.

If you are excited for Phineas and Ferb: Candace Against The Universe or have never seen the original show, all four seasons and the Disney Channel Original Movie Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension are now available to stream on Disney+.
