Looks like Selena Gomez is making her return to the small screen.
Deadline reports the actress and singer has been cast in a brand new comedy show headed to Hulu titled Only Murders In The Building. Comedic legends Steve Martin and Martin Short will also star.
The show will follow three strangers – all mutually obsessed with true crime stories – that somehow end up involved in one. Believe it or not, the show was just pitched this week. Now, it’s been ordered straight-to-series.

In addition to starring, Gomez will also serve as executive producer. She’s no stranger to the role either, having helped bring the popular YA novel 13 Reasons Why to Netflix. As mentioned earlier, this will be her first leading TV role since she last appeared in the Disney Channel’s Wizards of Waverly Place.
Steve Martin and Martin Short will also produce alongside This Is Us’ Dan Fogelman and Jess Rosenthal.
No word on when production will start.
