The finale of ABC’s Modern Family may have aired less than a few months ago, but it appears that we’re already getting a reunion of sorts.

Deadline reports that Sarah Hyland, who played the eldest Dunphy child on the hit series, is set to star in a new multi-camera comedy to be executively produced by Ty Burrell, who played the Dunphy family’s patriarch.

The series, titled Yours, Mine, & Paul’s, will follow Hyland as a young woman named Lauren. After she agrees to be a surrogate mother for her friend Paul and his husband, Xander, Paul dies and she’s forced to raised the baby with Xander. There’s only one other problem: Lauren and Xander hate each other.

According to Deadline, both ABC and 20th Television are especially excited to have Hyland involved in a brand new network comedy series, and believe that her casting is sure to excite audiences as well.

This marks one of the first projects in development under Burrell’s newly founded Desert Whale Productions, which just received a first-look deal with ABC.
