Downtown Disney began its reopening on July 9th with complimentary parking in the Simba Parking lot and new safety measures that have been implemented for Cast Members and guests upon their visit. These measures include:

• guests and employee temperature screenings
• hand sanitizer and hand-washing stations
• physical distance barriers and signage
•  face coverings (does not include neck gaiters, open chin bandanas, face coverings with valves, mesh materials, or holes)

Shopping experiences also established new ways to manage physical distancing which features a mobile waitlist. At select retail locations, guests are able to provide a cast member with their phone number to receive a text message when they’re able to return to ensure the store does not exceed capacity and shopping can be done safely.
