Disney’s nighttime spectaculars have been a fan-favorite way to spend their time at the park, and fans won’t be disappointed to see what Disneyland has planned for us in the coming months on that front.
The Main Street Electrical Parade will be returning once again this spring, starting April 22, 2022! In honor of the parade’s 50th anniversary, it will be receiving some new elements, including a new finale. This brand new ending will feature more than a dozen Disney Animation and Pixar stories, such as Encanto, The Jungle Book, Raya and the Last Dragon, Aladdin, The Princess and the Frog, Coco, Mulan, Brave, and more!

Early concept art shows the Encanto scene that will appear in the Main Street Electrical Parade. Mirabel and Antonio are featured, along with Casita lit up in sparkling lights.

This grand finale will add 118 feet to the parade, and guests no doubt will be thrilled to see these new additions come to life at Disneyland this spring. The parade will only be available for a limited time, though Disney has not given specific dates of when its run will end.
In addition to the Main Street Electrical Parade, the fireworks show “Disneyland Forever” and Disney California Adventure’s “World of Color” will also return beginning April 22, 2022. The nighttime spectacular “Fantasmic” will return on May 28, 2022.
As you can see, there will be lots to see at Disney parks this spring that you won’t want to miss, so stick with The DisInsider for all the updates!
