LEGO fans rejoice because everyone’s favourite tree-baby is coming to LEGO stores across the globe this summer!

The new LEGO figure will be based upon Baby Groot as he appears in Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 (2017). While this isn’t the first time Groot has been given the Mini-figure makeover, the set will stand apart from all of the previously released LEGO Groot’s.
According to Bricksup, the 476-piece LEGO Groot will have posable arms, legs and a rotating head. It will also come with a sticker-covered data plate and the Awesome Mix Vol, 2 cassette as an accessory.

The set will be similar to the recently released Irom Man figure (pictured above).
No set images have been released, but various LEGO websites state that the release date is scheduled for June 1st, 2022.

We’ll likely see more merchandise released in the lead up to I Am Groot, a new animated series premiering on Disney+ later this year.
