Last week, we exclusively shared the news that highly-anticipated Enchanted sequel Disenchanted would be going through significant reshoots that will last through April. Today, we get our first look ar the beautiful set.
MyMarlow is on location for the shoot. The photos reveal boutiques, an alehouse, in a village full of colorful flowers and boqutes. There are also stunt horses on site for scenes.
We have been told by multiple sources that mixed reactions from test screening played a large part in the reshoots. As of now, it is unknown if the reshoots will affect Disenchanted’s Fall 2022 release.
Disenchanted will see the return of Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey (who will also be making his singing debut), Idina Menzel, and James Marsden. Maya Rudolph, Yvette Nicole Brown, Jayma Mays, Oscar Nunez, Kolton Stewart, James Monroe Iglehart, and Gabriella Baldachino join the cast.
The film is directed by Adam Shankman (Hairspray) and produced by Barry Josephson (Enchanted, TV’s Bones), Amy Adams (Arrival, American Hustle) and Barry Sonnenfeld (Men in Black, Addams Family Values). It will also feature new songs from Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz, whose work on “Enchanted” garnered three Academy Award® nominations.
