While the internet has been buzzing about Bryce Dallas Howard potentially portraying Sue Storm in Marvel’s upcoming Fantastic Four film, it appears that she’s coming back to work for Disney in another, more familiar capacity.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actress is returning to the director’s chair to helm yet another episode of the hit Star Wars spin-off The Mandalorian.
She’ll direct one episode in the series’ upcoming third season. This will be her fourth time directing an episode.
Yesterday it was announced that the series would return to the streamer in February of 2023.
Following extensive delays due to COVID-19, the highly anticipated third season finally began filming late last year. Due to his involvement shooting the HBO Max series The Last of Us, it was reported that a lot of production took place without star Pedro Pascal. However, he’s expected to complete his work via ADR during the post-production process.
Fans last saw Pascal’s Din Djarin appear in an extended arc during The Book of Boba Fett this past Winter. While it’s unclear what he’ll do next, we certainly know that he won’t be alone with Grogu back in his “custody”.
Details on the third season are being kept under wraps for now, but at the very least we know that we can expect some fun appearances by actors such as Christopher Lloyd and Jim O’Heir.
