Saturday it was announced that actress Janina Gavankar would be making her return to the Star Wars franchise. However, she won’t be back in the way that fans might expect.

Gavankar has joined the cast of the upcoming animated anthology series Tales of the Jedi, and will provide the voice of Ashoka Tano’s mother.

Each episode of the show will reportedly revolve around a different Jedi from the prequel era.

Most fans might remember Gavankar as the voice of Iden Version in the 2017 game Star Wars: Battlefront II. It’s unclear if this means Gavankar could still reprise that character in any future live action projects.

The series will debut on Disney+ this fall.
