Wong Coming to Avengers Campus, Disneyland Resort Opens Auditions

Doctor Strange, Scarlet Witch, and America Chavez have all debuted at Avengers Campus. Now, another character from Multiverse of Madness will soon make his debut.

Disney Live Entertainer Auditions portal today revealed that the Disneyland Resort is searching for performers to play the current sorcerer supreme, Wong. Auditions will run through July 7 and the resort is seeking strong comedic actors with a stocky build and a powerful presence 5’9” to 5’11” to portray Wong.

Wong, based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name is portrayed by Benedict Wong in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In the franchise, Wong is depicted as Dr. Stephen Strange’s friend and fellow sorcerer, being a member of the Masters of the Mystic Arts. After Strange disappears during the Blip, he assumes his position of Sorcerer Supreme, which he retains even after Strange returns five years later.

As of 2022, Wong has appeared in six films, most recently in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and will appear in the Disney+ television series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (both 2022). Alternate versions of Wong also appear in the animated series What If…? (2021). With She-Hulk coming in August, it is safe to say we will see Wong at Avengers Campus sooner rather than later.
