Sarah Paulson Joins Searchlight Horror Film ‘Dust’

It’s been a minute since Sarah Paulson dabbled in the horror genre, but it looks like that’s all about change.

Deadline reports that the actress, who rose to notoriety for her work on American Horror Story and American Crime Story, is set to star in a new horror thriller from Searchlight Pictures titled Dust.

In the film Paulson will play a woman trapped by “increasingly perilous dust storms…haunted by her past encounters with a threatening presence.” She’ll do anything to keep her family safe.

Will Joines and Karrie Crouse will co-direct the film, and there are currently plans for it to head straight to Disney’s streaming platform Hulu. Filming is expected to begin next month.

The Emmy award-winning actress can next be seen in an adaptation of the Tony award-winning play Clybourne Parke, as well as Bad Robot’s upcoming series titled Untamed.
