For those who may not know – or realize – Everything Everywhere All At Once star Ke Huy Quan started as a childhood actor. He was in both The Goonies and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom – as well as Encino Man – before taking a break from the spotlight in the late ’90s/early 2000s.

With the success of A24’s multiverse film, his career has had a wholesome resurgence paving the way for many more roles, including one in the second season of Marvel’s Loki.

While Harrison Ford was at D23 today to discuss the upcoming fifth Indiana Jones film, Quan was there too for the announcement of his induction into the MCU. Although the two did not get a chance to cross paths on stage, they did manage to reunite backstage. The photo, courtesy of Ke Huy Quan’s Instagram, might go down as the best (unplanned) thing to come out of the Expo so far.

We know that Ford indicated that the next Indiana Jones film might be his last, but I would kill to see the characters reunite onscreen, in that universe, again.

While plot details and the official title are surprisingly still under wraps, we’re sure we’ll hear more about the film in the coming months.

Directed by James Mangold, and written by Mangold, Jez Butterworth and John-Henry Butterworth, the movie will see the return of Harrison Ford as the titular adventurer, alongside Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, Thomas Kretschmann, Boyd Holbrook, Shaunette René Wilson, Antonio Banderas, Toby Jones, and Oliver Richters.

Indiana Jones 5 hits theaters June 30, 2023.

Production on the second season of Loki, however, is still underway with a targeted release date of next summer.
