In 2009, Roiland pitched an animated variety comedy show called The Paloni Family Comedy Show to Fox for its Animation Domination block. The show was rejected, but now Roiland is bringing it back in the form of a Halloween Special.

The special will follow the main characters Leroy, Reggie, and Cheruce Paloni in a series of spooky shorts. According to Deadline, the special will also showcase and incorporate the work of several up-and-coming animators.
Roiland will lend his voice to Leroy, while Zach Hadel (Adult Swim’s Smiling Friends) will play Reggie, and Pamela Adlon (FX’s Better Things) will play Cheruce.
The special, produced by 20th Century Animation, will be available exclusively on Hulu on October 17th.
