It’s been a few weeks since we got any update on the highly anticipated legacy sequel Sister Act 3. This weekend though, the film got some major buzz on social media all thanks to Disney alum Keke Palmer.
The actress, singer, and producer took to Twitter to post a fake poster for the film with her name under original star Whoopi Goldberg’s name, as well as the name of Hocus Pocus 2‘s Bette Midler.
In the poster, the sequel is cleverly given the title Sister Act 3: Kicking the Habit.
Along with the photo, Palmer indicated that she didn’t make the poster herself but rather that she was just passing it along. She wrote, “God bless y’all for this manifestation over my life. @WaltDisneyCo, this is what they asked for I’m just here to relay.”

Now, this does not mean Palmer is involved in the project. Currently, Goldberg is the only actor attached. However, this isn’t the first Palmer has expressed her interest in joining the franchise.
Just a few weeks ago, Tyler Perry gave the first real update on the project in months.
Tim Federle (Ferdinand, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series) is currently attached to direct the project with Madhuri Shekar (The Nevers) writing the script. Goldberg will produce alongside Tyler Perry, Tom Leonardis.
