‘Blade,’ ‘Deadpool 3,’ ‘Fantastic Four,’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ Get New Release Dates

On the heels of Blade‘s delay due to script changes and a new director search, Marvel Studios has made some release date adjustments to the biggest upcoming titles.

Up first is Blade, which will not be making a 2023 debut and has been pushed off to September 6, 2023. Deadpool 3 has moved off the September 6 release and will hit theaters on November 8, 2024. Fantastic Four will move off the November 8 release and shift to February 14, 2025. Finally, Marvel will not have two Avengers movies in 2024 as Avengers: Secret Wars will hit May 1, 2026.

Marvel also dated an untitled Marvel film that was previously set for February 14, 2025 to November 7, 2025. The project is unknown but we do know Shang-Chi 3 and Armor Wars are also in the works.

Avengers: The Kang Dynasty will remain on its May 2, 2025 release. The tentpole already has Shang-Chi filmmaker Destin Daniel Cretton on board to direct from a screenplay written by Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania writer Jeff Loveness.
